Accounts Payable Officer - SAP S/4HANA Specialist
SAP S/4HANA specialist – play a key role in an exciting implementation and help guide the team through the transition
Lawson Elliott Recruitment is partnering with an ASX-listed organisation to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Officer as the business continues to grow and implements SAP S/4HANA.
In this role, you will take ownership of the accounts payable function and play a key role in the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
You will use your expertise to support and guide the team through the transition, while ensuring the day-to-day accounts payable function runs smoothly.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have broad range of responsibilities including:
Process supplier invoices and purchase orders
Prepare and process regular supplier payments, including EFT, BPAY and international payments
Resolve invoice, payment and accounts payable queries
Reconcile supplier statements and accounts
Assist with month end and year end tasks
Maintain accurate supplier records and accounts payable information
Prepare accounts payable reports as required
Support process improvements and assist with the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, including providing guidance and support to users
Assist with other ad hoc duties as required
Ideal candidate for this role:
SAP S/4HANA experience is required
Experience processing a high volume of invoices and payments
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial information
Good communication skills and confidence when dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
A proactive approach, with the ability to identify issues, solve problems and take ownership of your work
Comfortable supporting process improvements and recent ways of working
