In doing so, our "Work Safe Home Safe" ethos is enhanced through reducing exposure to risk and improving HSE standards.Key tasks and responsibilities:Support HSE development capabilities in line with legislation and company policiesFoster strong relationships with Building Managers, Construction Managers, Site Managers, suppliers and contractorsDrive collaboration to develop practical and effective solutions to site safetyCoordinate and deliver safety training aligned with business needsInvestigate HSE incidents and provide feedback to the HSE ManagerConduct site safety inspections and audits on ABN construction sites, as well as assist and coordinate external auditsAssist with subcontractor management including documentation, audits,
reviews and meetingsConduct and manage psychosocial risk assessments to support wellbeing across the workforceAbout You:Minimum Cert IV in Safety or considerable practical safety experience (desirable)Strong understanding of HSE legislation and ability to translate this into practical safety solutions on siteA passion for safety and an ability to influence key stakeholdersSounds understanding and experience in conducting incident investigationsAbility to mentor, upskill and deliver training to stakeholders at all levels of the organisationAbility and willingness to hold people accountable and conduct challenging conversations in a constructive mannerDemonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and effectively manage deadlinesComfortable working independently while staying connected to the broader HSE teamWhy ABN?
