We have been operating for almost 45 years and employ over 250people.About the roleReporting to the General Manager, South East and based out of our head office at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast, this position is responsible for leading a successful region and drive future strategic direction within our Northern New South Wales Operations.We will be looking at a dynamic senior leader with experience within the pavement construction industry to lead our North region in NSW.
With a key focus on leading our local team, the role encompasses managing all aspects including but not limited to business, financial, safety, technical, contract and project management, business development and networking, client relationships, general management, sales,



and marketing within the region.The role is adequately supported by an experienced local team, and a range of national resources that will work collaboratively to achieve your planned initiatives.
Combining the challenge of marketing, works procurement/tendering, project delivery, contract management, client and stakeholder liaison, invoicing and the financial management and EOM processing of this significant business unit.
This role includes a supporting team including administration, engineering and supervisory roles.DutiesPreparation of quotes and tenders and other pricing as required for stabilisation and related works in Northern NSW.Customer/client management and communications including provision of technical or operational consultative advice, marketing and sales.Liaising with the Operations Manager in regard to scheduling of upcoming projects and resourcesManage invoicing, reporting, budgeting, and reviewing monthly job costsContract and Project management of stabilisation and related projects in accordance with company Project Management Framework.Ongoing administration and development as required of SPA systems, policies, training management system and other company documentation.Ensure compliance of regional business operations in accordance with legislative requirements,



SPA management system policies and supporting management systemsReview operations and provide advice on areas for improvement within SPA management system.Skills & ExperienceDemonstrated experience in a similar client facing roleExtensive knowledge within the civil construction industry preferably with exposure to pavements and stabilisation practiceAn understanding of the opportunities and key contacts in the NSW road maintenance and construction marketDemonstratable experience in construction contract management and commercial acumenStrong technical, written and oral skills in support of providing quality client solutions and tender bidsProven ability to lead a team and influence the best in othersA focus on maintaining a safe workplace and upholding safe work practicesStrong business development skills, aligned with strategic thinkingPreferably an engineering qualification or alternative tertiary qualifications to support the above criteria.Competitive salary commensurate with experienceExcellent culture that promotes a strong team-based environment.We offer employees challenging and rewarding opportunities for career progression and learning.Flexible and diverse working environment which values collaboration and personal development.Stabilised Pavements of Australia is an equal prospect employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.
