Working closely with senior management, you will lead a team ensuring payroll services are delivered accurately, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.Leading, mentoring and developing a team of payroll professionalsManaging workflow, capacity, deadlines and resource allocationOverseeing end-to-end Australian payroll servicesProviding technical guidance on complex payroll mattersReviewing payroll reconciliations, statutory reporting and compliance rManaging EOFY payroll activitiesSupporting payroll system implementations, migrations, integrations and process improvementsWorking across onshore and offshore teams to ensure consistent service deliveryBuilding strong and trusted client relationshipsIdentifying opportunities to improve processes, automation,



systems and workflowsAbout YouYou will be an experienced Australian payroll skilled who is ready to take the next step in leadership, or an established payroll leader looking for a role with broader responsibility.
Additionally you will have:3+ years' experience processing Australian payrollPrevious team leadership or supervisory experienceExperience with payroll systems such as Xero Payroll, Employment Hero, KeyPay, MYOB or similarExperience with workforce management systems such as Tanda, Deputy or Humanforce is advantageousStrong attention to detail and a methodical approach to workExcellent communication and relationship management skillsA genuine interest in technology, process improvement and payroll innovationThe ability to manage competing priorities
