You'll own the payroll as a stand-alone, but you'll never be on your own: the HR and Finance team have your back, so holidays and sick leave cover are never an issue!
This is a Fixed-Term Maternity cover contract for at least 9-months to start from Nov 2nd.

NUTS & BOLTS:
End-to-end fortnightly payroll for 800+ employees using Employment Hero
SHADS Award interpretation and compliance
Timesheet review, coding and importing
Allowances, deductions, child support and salary packaging
New starters, terminations, pay increases and back pays
Monthly super, payroll tax and workers comp reconciliations
Monthly and year-end payroll-to-GL reconciliations
Statutory, end-of-year and ad hoc reporting
Resolving payroll queries and supporting payroll and finance projects
ABOUT YOU:
End-to-end payroll experience in a medium to large organisation
Employment Hero not essential - training provided
Strong Award (SHADS highly regarded) and EA interpretation, plus payroll tax and super knowledge
Strong payroll systems and Excel skills
A genuine desire to work in the care industry
Excellent attention to detail and a warm, empathetic communication style
Valid police clearance (or willingness to obtain)
