As a Field Support Technician, you will provide practical deskside and remote support to CBRE technology users across Australia and New Zealand.
You will troubleshoot everyday technology issues, guide users through solutions and share clear advice on IT policies, procedures and good practice.
This role suits a service-focused technician who can organise competing priorities, communicate technical information clearly and work effectively both independently and with a team.
About the role
Provide day-to-day IT support by phone, onsite and through administration tools.Troubleshoot PCs, applications, networks, mobile devices, hardware, printers and video conferencing equipment.Inventory ManagementMobile Device support including smartphones and tablets.Manage incidents and maintain accurate inventory records.Package and install client software, prepare hardware and complete PC setup and image cloning.Support server-room patching and deliver IT training to users.Hardware Support including repairs with vendors.Incident ticket managementPrinting environment maintenanceClient software packaging/installing.Hardware kitting, PC setup (image cloning)Visit regional offices and support weekend or overnight work when required.IT Training
About you
Minimum 2-year experience in supporting Windows OS in a large corporate environment.
(At least 50+ users)Minimum 2-year experience in supporting Microsoft Office SuitesActive Directory and Account creationServer Rooms and PatchingGood knowledge on ITILExperience with Service Now and Beyond Trust is highly regarded.A can-do attitude is a mustGood time managementMust have the ability to work independently as well as in a teamExcellent written and spoken English is a requirement for the role.Strong organisational and analytical skills.Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to stakeholders.
