You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the kitchen, supporting with various management tasks, and providing leadership and guidance to junior team members.
Reporting to the Executive Chef, your key roles and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;Leading and overseeing daily kitchen operations across Breakfast, Lunch, In room Dining, Dinner or Event preparationSupporting and developing junior kitchen staff by providing training, guidance, and feedback on culinary techniques and Oakwood's kitchen standardsEnsuring all dishes are consistently prepared to the highest quality standards, with attention to detail in terms of presentation, taste, and portion sizesMaintaining strict food safety,
hygiene and workplace health and safety standardsAssisting with kitchen administration, including rostering, recruitment, stock control, ordering and food cost.
