We're partnering with a well established manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager for a maternity leave cover opportunity commencing in November.This is a standalone payroll position where you'll take full ownership of payroll operations across multiple legal entities, managing both fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a workforce of approximately 150 employees.
With a mix of salaried and hourly employees working across complex rotating rosters, this role will suit a payroll skilled who enjoys autonomy and is confident managing the complete payroll function.The RoleYou will be responsible for:End-to-end payroll processing across three Australian legal entitiesManaging fortnightly and monthly payroll cyclesProcessing payroll for salaried and hourly manufacturing employeesReviewing timesheets, overtime, shift penalties, allowances and leave transactionsAdministering payroll tax, superannuation, STP and statutory reporting requirementsManaging workers compensation declarations and insurer queriesPayroll reporting, reconciliations and audit supportProcessing annual remuneration reviews, bonus payments and sales commissionsSupporting Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) reporting requirementsActing as the key payroll subject matter expert for employees, managers and stakeholdersAbout YouTo be successful in this role,
you'll demonstrate:Extensive Australian payroll experience in an end-to-end positionPrevious experience operating as a standalone Payroll Manager or Payroll SpecialistStrong exposure to hourly payroll environments and complex roster arrangementsExperience interpreting shift penalties, overtime and award conditionsStrong understanding of payroll compliance, payroll tax, superannuation and ATO reporting requirementsExcellent attention to detail and ability to meet critical payroll deadlinesAdvanced Excel and payroll reporting capabilitiesHighly RegardedADP payroll experienceManufacturing, industrial or 24/7 operational workforce experienceExperience managing payroll for rotating 8-hour and 12-hour rostersTime and attendance system administration experienceExposure to workers compensation reporting and WGEA submissionsWhat's on Offer?
