As a Maintenance Officer at Menarock LIFE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our aged care facility in Moama NSW.
This full-time position is responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance and handyperson duties to maintain the facility's buildings, equipment, and infrastructure to the highest standards.What you'll be doingPerforming general maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical workConducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance on the facility's equipment and systemsIdentifying and addressing any maintenance issues in a timely and effective mannerCoordinating with external contractors and service providers as neededMaintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and expendituresEnsuring the facility's compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulationsProviding exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and visitorsWhat we're looking forRelevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience in maintenance and handyperson servicesDemonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within the aged care or healthcare sectorStrong problem-solving and decision‐making skills, with the ability to work independentlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‐focused approachProficient in the use of tools, equipment,
