About the role:Veterans First Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused CSC Case Officer to join our growing team.
This is a newly created role suited to someone who thrives in a structured, purpose-driven environment and takes pride in managing cases with accuracy, care, and efficiency.
You will play a key role in building robust client files, maintaining accurate records, and moving cases forward through the CSC invalidity process from intake to outcome.Key Responsibilities:Build and manage comprehensive client case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with CSC requirementsCoordinate the collection, review, and organisation of medical, service, and supporting evidenceManage case timelines and task lists, proactively tracking progress and following up on outstanding itemsLiaise with clients to gather information, provide updates,



and maintain a high standard of communication throughout the processEngage with key stakeholders including CSC, Defence, and DVA as required to progress mattersAccurately enter and maintain client data across internal systemsIdentify and elevate complex or urgent matters to the CSC Supervisor with appropriate contextAdhere to firm processes and contribute to their continuous improvementUphold professionalism, confidentiality, and a client-first approach at all timesExperience/ Qualifications:Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and competing prioritiesHigh attention to detail, particularly in document review, data entry, and file managementClear and professional communication skills both written and verbalComfortable working with case management systems and digital documentation toolsA proactive, self-motivated approach suited to independent remote workAlignment with VFC's values and standardsPrevious experience in claims management or a similar case-based role highly regardedPrior working knowledge of or experience with CSC invalidity processes highly regardedAbility to obtain a clear police check and relevant state-based clearances (e.g. Working With Vulnerable People/Children)This is a work-from-home opportunity open to candidates anywhere in Australia.
