You'll manage your own portfolio of clients, build trusted relationships, review and delegate work across the team, and play an active role in identifying opportunities to add value through advisory conversations.You'll work closely with our leadership team while mentoring junior team members and helping drive quality outcomes across the business.We're after someone who is proactive, commercially minded, organised,



and enjoys building strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.What you'll be doingManaging a portfolio of clients across a range of industriesActing as the primary point of contact for your client group and building trusted relationshipsReviewing and overseeing the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, individuals and partnershipsPreparing and reviewing BAS, IAS, FBT and CGT mattersManaging workflow, budgets and deadlines across your portfolioIdentifying tax planning and business advisory opportunitiesCollaborating with team members to deliver quality outcomesProviding coaching, guidance and technical support to developing team membersManaging scope and proactively communicating with clients around delivery and expectationsContributing ideas and helping improve internal processes and workflowsAbout youFun, friendly and engaging4+ years' experience in public practiceCA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion)Proven experience managing client work from start to finishExperience reviewing work and delegating effectivelyStrong communication and relationship-building skillsOrganised, proactive and able to manage competing prioritiesExperience with Xero and cloud-based accounting systemsAbility to work independently, exercise sound judgement and take initiativeA genuine desire to mentor others and contribute within a high-performing teamAmbition to continue growing into future leadership opportunitiesWhy join HCO?
