This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in providing high-quality early education and care to children within our early education setting.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be instrumental in creating a nurturing, stimulating and safe environment where children can learn, grow and develop during their formative years.
Your work directly impacts the wellbeing, development and educational outcomes of the children in our care, making this a strategically important role within our organisation.Key responsibilitiesPlan, implement and evaluate engaging educational experiences and play-based learning experiences that support children's cognitive, physical, social, emotional and creative developmentProvide direct care and supervision to children, ensuring their health, safety and wellbeing at all timesBuild positive relationships with children, encouraging independence, confidence and a love of learningMaintain a clean, safe and well-organised learning environment that meets relevant legislation, regulations and centre policiesCommunicate regularly and professionally with parents and carers about children's progress, activities and any concernsCollaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent approaches to behaviour guidance, education and care practicesSupport children with diverse needs, including those requiring additional support or with identified disabilitiesDocument and observe children's learning and development,



contributing to individual learning plans and developmental assessmentsMaintain accurate records including attendance, incident reports and other administrative documentationParticipate in professional development, team meetings and training to maintain current knowledge of early childhood education best practiceWork flexibly to support the needs of the centre, including attendance at occasional evening or weekend events where requiredWhat we're looking forA recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related discipline (Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent as a minimum)Current Working with Children Check clearanceDemonstrated experience working with children in an early education settingStrong knowledge and understanding of current early childhood education frameworks, including the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleaguesA patient, calm and compassionate approach to working with young childrenAbility to implement positive behaviour guidance strategies and create inclusive learning environmentsPhysical fitness and ability to engage in active play and physical activities with childrenCommitment to maintaining a safe, clean and hygienic environmentFlexibility, reliability and a strong work ethicCurrent First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)Experience with documentation,
