We are looking for passionate VET professionals who can deliver engaging training, conduct quality assessments and support students to successfully complete their qualifications.We welcome applications from trainers with experience across building, construction, trades and business qualifications.Training AreasWe are currently seeking Trainer & Assessors for the following areas:Certificate III in Bricklaying and BlocklayingCertificate III in Roof PlumbingCertificate III in Wall and Floor TilingDiploma of Building and Construction (Building)Certificate III in Glass and GlazingCertificate III in Solid PlasteringCertificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber TechnologyDiploma of BusinessLocations: Melbourne VIC and Sydney NSWAbout the RoleAs a Trainer & Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment in accordance with MPC's Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS), academic policies and VET regulatory requirements.Your responsibilities will include:Delivering engaging and structured classroom, workshop and practical trainingConducting competency-based assessments in accordance with unit requirementsMarking assessments and providing clear,
constructive and timely feedbackSupporting students throughout their learning and assessment journeyMaintaining accurate attendance, assessment and academic recordsEnsuring training and assessment activities are delivered in accordance with the relevant TASParticipating in assessment validation, moderation and continuous improvement activitiesMaintaining current vocational skills, industry knowledge and currencyWorking collaboratively with academic and administrative staffComplying with MPC policies, procedures and relevant VET regulatory requirementsEssential RequirementsTAE***** or TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentRelevant vocational qualification(s) for the training areaDemonstrated experience in vocational education and trainingCurrent industry skills and knowledge relevant to the qualification being deliveredSound understanding of competency-based training and assessmentStrong communication, organisational and record-keeping skillsCommitment to quality training, assessment and student outcomesHighly DesirablePrevious experience working within an RTOExperience delivering practical and workplace-based trainingExperience using Moodle or other Learning Management SystemsExperience participating in validation and moderation activitiesStrong student engagement and support skillsCurrent industry employment or demonstrated industry currencyWhy Join Monash Polytechnic College?
