Reporting to the Engineering Delivery Manager, you will take ownership of allocated project work packages from planning through to practical completion and handover, providing the technical leadership and engineering capability required to deliver safely, on schedule, within budget and to a high standard.Working closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and other key stakeholders, you will play a key role in coordinating delivery, resolving complex engineering issues and driving successful project outcomes.Key responsibilities will include:Leading short and medium-term project planning, including look-ahead planning, work sequencing and resource coordinationCoordinating engineering, procurement, construction and subcontractor activities across allocated work packagesProviding technical leadership across design coordination, technical interfaces, RFIs, engineering methodologies and constructability reviewsContributing to construction methodologies and work packs, identifying and resolving engineering and delivery risksManaging costs, productivity, quantities, variations and other commercial matters across allocated work packagesManaging project risks, constraints and opportunities and implementing effective mitigation strategiesOverseeing quality assurance requirements, including inspections, testing,



commissioning and project documentationEnsuring compliance with WHS, environmental, contractual and client requirementsCoordinating testing, commissioning, practical completion and handover activitiesBuilding effective relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers and representing Enerven in technical and delivery discussionsMentoring and providing technical guidance to Project Engineers, Site Engineers and Graduate EngineersThis role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of electrical infrastructure projects right across SA, including substations, cable systems, HV/MV/LV installations and renewable energy projects.Rosters will vary depending on project requirements, with a typical roster of 10 days on / 4 days off, 11-hour days, plus overtime and travel allowances.
As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you will be required to be on-site to effectively lead delivery, so you must be comfortable with working away from home.About youYou're an experienced and proactive electrical engineering professional who thrives in complex, site-based project environments.
You bring strong technical capability, commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills, together with the leadership and judgement required to work autonomously and drive successful delivery outcomes.You will also bring:Tertiary qualifications in Electrical EngineeringExtensive experience in electrical engineering and project delivery, with demonstrated experience delivering complex electrical infrastructure, utility, industrial or construction projectsDemonstrated experience taking ownership of significant work packages and providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycleStrong knowledge of project delivery methodologies, construction practices, engineering processes and constructabilityExperience coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractor and supplier activities across multiple work frontsStrong commercial acumen, including experience managing costs, quantities, variations,
