Date: 1 Oct ****LocationSt George, NSW, AU, ****Case WorkerAbout UsThe St Vincent de Paul Society NSW is a leading provider of community support services, committed to supporting people experiencing disadvantage and working towards a more just and compassionate society.Competitive SCHCADS Award rates of $***** to $***** per hour, dependent on experienceGenerous not for profit tax benefits to boost your take home payPermanent Full-time Role | Monday to FridayMeaningful work supporting women to rebuild their lives in a safe and supportive environmentYour RoleIn this rewarding and varied role, you will support women and children experiencing domestic and family violence, homelessness and crisis.You will provide practical and emotional support, advocacy and case management, helping clients navigate complex circumstances and access the services they need to move forward safely and with confidence.You will be part of a passionate and supportive team that takes a trauma-informed, strengths-based and person-centred approach to supporting women and their families.Your ResponsibilityProvide practical and emotional support to women and children experiencing domestic and family violence, homelessness and crisisComplete comprehensive assessments and develop personalised support plansProvide outreach and in-home support, meeting clients where they areSupport clients to access appropriate housing, health, legal, financial and community servicesWork collaboratively with government, community and specialist service providersAdvocate for clients and ensure their dignity, safety,



rights and choices are upheldMaintain accurate and confidential case notes and recordsIdentify and respond appropriately to risk and safety concernsApply a trauma-informed, strengths-based and non-judgemental approach to all interactionsYou Will Need4+ years' experience supporting people experiencing family and domestic violenceCertificate IV in Welfare, Community Services or a related discipline, or currently studying towards oneDemonstrated experience working with people experiencing complex and challenging circumstancesStrong understanding of domestic and family violence, homelessness, trauma and mental healthExcellent communication, advocacy and relationship-building skillsAbility to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgroundsStrong case management, assessment and documentation skillsAbility to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative teamCurrent NSW Driver LicenceBenefitsSupportive Team – Join a welcoming,
