Qualified Landscaper / 3rd–4th Year Landscape Apprentice – Career Progression to Foreman

We’re growing our team and looking for a Qualified Landscaper or experienced 3rd/4th Year Landscape Apprentice who wants more than just another landscaping job.

Motion Landscape Design & Construction is an award-winning landscaping company based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, specialising in high-quality structural landscaping, hardscaping and complete outdoor transformations.

We’re looking for someone who already has a solid foundation in the trade, takes pride in their workmanship and wants to continue developing their skills. For the right person, there is a genuine pathway to take on greater responsibility, develop leadership and site management skills, and progress into a Foreman / Site Supervisor role within our team.

About the Role

You’ll work alongside our experienced team across a variety of residential landscape construction projects throughout the Northern Beaches and surrounding areas.

Depending on your experience, you’ll be involved in:

- Structural landscaping and general landscape construction
- Paving, tiling and natural stonework
- Retaining walls and structural elements
- Drainage and stormwater works
- Concreting and site preparation
- Decking, timberwork and external structures
- Turfing, planting, soil preparation and garden construction
- Reading plans, interpreting scopes and working to project specifications
- Operating tools, equipment and machinery safely
- Assisting with organising materials, workflow and other team members onsite
- Developing the skills required to eventually take ownership of projects and lead a crew

What We’re Looking For We’re interested in hearing from qualified landscapers and strong 3rd or 4th year apprentices who are serious about building a career in the industry. We will also accept a motivated 1st or 2nd year apprentice.

Ideally, you will have:

- Certificate III in Landscape Construction,



or currently completing your apprenticeship
- Hands-on structural landscaping or landscape construction experience
- Positive understanding of construction methods, levels and site preparation
- White Card and current driver’s licence
- Confidence using landscaping and construction tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication and ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- A willingness to learn, take responsibility and continue developing professionally

Previous experience supervising others or running small sections of a project is highly regarded, but not essential. We’re happy to develop the right person who has the attitude, trade skills and potential to grow into that responsibility. Why Join Motion Landscapes?
