Job Tasks

We currently have a vacancy for a fit, honest, reliable, full-time, A-Grade Electrician to join our team in Tullamarine, where your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Carry out all tasks associated with commercial maintenance in up-to-date buildings, older properties and classified buildings;

- Exit and Emergency testing and repairs
- RCD Testing
- Servicing/repair work
- Lighting maintenance
- Lighting upgrades
- Office fitouts
- Network cabling – Cat 6
- Installation of switchboards
- Sports Lighting – indoor and outdoor
- Fault finding
- Maintenance shutdowns (Afterhours)
- Ordering materials

In addition to the above, you will be expected to adhere to strict workplace health and safety practices and Company policies. No two days are the same—you’ll need to be confident, adaptable, and take pride in your work. Skills and requirements The successful applicant will be a person that possesses the following skills and attributes:

- Be well presented.




- Excellent written and verbal English language.
- Be a team-player with a positive and proactive approach to all tasks.
- Be highly organised with the ability to work to timelines and to manage multiple priorities
- Standard working hours (7:00am – 3:30pm) Regular Overtime available
- Must be flexible to work overtime, including afterhours shutdown works, and afterhours call-outs when required.
- Penalty rates paid for all overtime.
- Strong attention to detail
- Live locally
- Previous experience in a service maintenance role is preferred.

Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role and hold the following:

- A Grade Electrical Licence
- Current Victorian Driving Licence
- Red or White Card
- Current Police Check will be advantageous
- Current Working with Children Check will be advantageous
- EWP

Note: Police Check and WWCC are not required to apply, however successful applicants must obtain both before commencing work (these cost will be reimbursed).
