Your new role
As the part-time Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable function while working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key responsibilities include
- Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
- Managing accounts payable workflows and payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining supplier information within accounting systems
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors regarding accounts enquiries
- Reviewing and monitoring purchase orders and invoice approvals
- Assisting with month-end reporting processes
- Supporting broader finance and administration functions when required
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies
What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will have:
- 3-5 years experience in an Accounts Payable, Finance Administration or similar role
- Strong data entry skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Experience working with accounting systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously and within a team
- A commitment to accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement
