Your new role
As the part-time Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable function while working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key responsibilities include
Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
Managing accounts payable workflows and payment runs
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
Maintaining supplier information within accounting systems
Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors regarding accounts enquiries
Reviewing and monitoring purchase orders and invoice approvals
Assisting with month-end reporting processes
Supporting broader finance and administration functions when required
Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies
What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will have:
3-5 years experience in an Accounts Payable, Finance Administration or similar role
Strong data entry skills and exceptional attention to detail
Experience working with accounting systems
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously and within a team A commitment to accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement
