Are you the AP leader your finance team can always count on?
We're looking for an experienced, organised and hands-on Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead our AP team and own the Accounts Payable function across our Australian and New Zealand operations, based at our modern Villawood office.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading a team of two (an AP Officer and an Accounts Officer), allocating work, setting priorities and reviewing work for accuracy and timeliness
- Training and coaching the team, and keeping AP procedures up to date so every task can be covered
- Overseeing and processing inventory and GL invoices and credit notes
- Overseeing and processing local and overseas vendor payments, including foreign currency payments
- Maintaining strong payment controls, including independently verifying vendor bank detail changes and reviewing payment runs before release
- Leading the AP month-end close, and supporting EOFY processes
- Stepping in to cover the team's work during leave or busy periods
- Supporting the wider finance team with administration tasks including reception relief and stock checks
What You will Bring
- At least 3 years' AP experience, including supervising or leading an AP team with good coaching and development skills
- Strong end-to-end AP knowledge, including inventory, imports and shipments, foreign currency payments and trade finance
- A solid understanding of month-end processes and vendor reconciliations
- Able to meet tight deadlines and stay calm under pressure
- A sharp eye for detail
- Advanced computer skills, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships
- A current driver's licence and a clean driving record (preferable)
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field (advantageous)
