/n We are looking for an experienced and motivated Office Administrator to join our team in Smithfield.
/n This is a hands-on all-rounder role within a small team suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and likes being involved in all aspects of a fast paced manufacturing team. /n /n As the key administrator supporting our office, production floor and warehouse, you will play an important role in keeping the day-to-day operation running smoothly. From assisting customers and processing orders through to inventory, purchasing, and coordinating the premises, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact across the business. The role is based in the office right next to the production floor. /n About the Role
/n Working closely with the operations and dispatch managers, your responsibilities will include:
Customer Service & Sales Support /n /n
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email and in person.
/n
- Process customer orders and assist with data entry.
/n
- Support invoicing and purchase order requirements
/n
- Resolve customer enquiries, complaints and product issues professionally.
/n
- Monitor backorders and keep customers informed of order status.
/n
- Provide customer support on behalf of the production team as needed.
/n
- Meet and Greet deliveries and assist in receiving. /n /n
Purchasing & Supplier Management/n
/n /n
- Raise and manage purchase orders.
/n
- Follow up supplier orders and deliveries.
/n /n
Office, Warehouse & Facilities/n
/n /n
- Coordinate general visitors and deliveries.
/n
- Liaise with production, sales & operations teams.
/n
- Monitor office and warehouse supplies and arrange replenishment.
/n
- Help maintain a safe, clean, organised and professional workplace.
/n You will ideally have:/n
/n /n
- Previous experience in office administration, customer service, sales administration or a similar all-rounder role.
/n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
/n
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
/n
- Good computer skills and confidence learning new business systems.
/n
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
/n
- The ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member.
/n
- A practical, "can-do" attitude and willingness to get involved where needed.
/n
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
/n Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, trade or distribution environment would be highly regarded./n
