You will be an significant point of contact for patients, families, referrers and clinicians, coordinating appointments and investigations while ensuring accurate and timely management of patient information.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Support the effective management of outpatient clinics, including patient administration, billing processes and follow-up activities to facilitate continuity of care.
Coordinate arrangements for rural, regional and remote patients, ensuring appointments and investigations are organised efficiently to support access to care.
Assist with referral processing, appointment management and other administrative activities that support the effective operation of the Sleep Disorders Centre.
Maintain accurate patient information, records and data collection requirements, ensuring compliance with organisational policies, procedures and reporting obligations.
Communicate reports, correspondence and clinical documentation to referring practitioners in a timely manner and ensure appropriate filing within the patient's medical record.
