About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Air-conditioning Wholesaler Sales Representative to join our team in Gladstone, QLD. This is a full-time position that combines both internal and external sales activities, offering the ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. You will be at the heart of our sales operations, managing relationships with trade customers, contractors, and businesses whilst driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and exceptional customer service.

This role is crucial to expanding our market presence and delivering value to our diverse customer base.

What you'll be doing

- Develop and maintain robust relationships with existing wholesale customers, contractors, and trade clients through regular contact and personalised service
- Generate new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and actively pursuing sales leads both inside and outside the office
- Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations to customers, ensuring they select the most appropriate air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions for their requirements
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and pricing information to customers in a professional and timely manner




- Process customer orders, manage order administration, and ensure smooth transaction completion
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct site visits and assessments when required to understand customer needs and scope of work
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline using company systems
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Collaborate with the warehouse and technical teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment and customer delivery
- Stay up-to-date with product developments, market trends, and competitor activities

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the refrigeration, air-conditioning, HVAC, or related wholesale/trade industry
- Strong understanding of air-conditioning and products, systems, and applications (training will be provided if you have strong sales fundamentals)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customer groups
- Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions
- Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and KPIs




- Proficiency with sales administration systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport for external visits
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a professional approach to customer relations
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Preferably holds relevant qualifications or certifications in refrigeration, air-conditioning, or sales (desirable but not essential)
