Loris H Hassall Trading Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and motivated Wastewater Operator to join our team in Forbes, NSW.
This is a full-time, hands-on role within our Wastewater Department, supporting the protected and efficient operation of our wastewater treatment systems and our broader hide-curing operations.We are looking for someone who is safety focused, reliable, willing to learn and comfortable undertaking practical and manual work.
Previous wastewater or industrial experience would be advantageous; however, training will be provided to the right candidate.What you'll be doingOperating and monitoring wastewater treatment equipment and systemsCollecting wastewater samples and completing required monitoring and recordsMaintaining wastewater, clarifier, holding tank, filter press and collection pit levelsMonitoring treatment chemicals and ensuring adequate supplies are maintainedAssisting with environmental monitoring and compliance requirementsCompleting weekly wastewater sheets and daily check sheetsMaintaining a clean, safe and organised Wastewater DepartmentFollowing company SOPs, WHS requirements and environmental proceduresWorking collaboratively with the Wastewater and Hide Curing teamsUndertaking other reasonable duties as required by the Supervisor and/or ManagerWhat we're looking forA reliable,
