About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and motivated
Assistant Restaurant Manager
to join our leadership team.
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you'll play a key role in leading day-to-day operations, developing a large front-of-house team and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys leading from the floor.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop front-of-house team members to deliver exceptional service
Drive service excellence across restaurant and function operations
Oversee daily venue operations, ensuring presentation,



service and compliance standards are maintained
Support rostering, labour management and operational efficiency
Deliver outstanding guest experiences and resolve issues professionally
Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor venue performance and contribute to achieving operational targets
Maintain compliance across RSA, RCG, WHS and venue policies
Foster a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture
About You
You are a passionate hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, a hands-on management style and a genuine commitment to guest service.
To Be Successful, You'll Have:
2+ years' experience in an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or similar leadership role
Experience in a high-volume restaurant, hospitality or premium casual dining environment
A strong floor presence and the ability to lead by example
Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop teams
Strong food and beverage knowledge
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods
Current RSA & RCG qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
