We are looking for an experienced Full time Estimator to join our team.
Key responsibilities
Prepare accurate project estimates and quotations
Read and interpret plans and drawings
Complete material take-offs and costings
Prepare traditional/old-school material cut lists
Obtain supplier and subcontractor pricing
Identify material, labour and project requirements
Assist with variations, budgeting and cost control
Liaise with suppliers, clients and the project team
About you
Previous estimating experience, preferably in construction
Strong understanding of materials and construction methods
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Confident reading plans and completing manual take-offs
Good computer, communication and organisational skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
