As a permanent part‐time member of our team (working a flexible rotating roster), your day‐to‐day duties will include:
Theatre Preparation & Readiness
Intraoperative Technical Support
Equipment Management
Theatre Turnover & Patient Flow
Stock & Consumable Management
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Teamwork & Communication
What we're looking for:
To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service who enjoys being part of a busy team.
You will also bring:
A minimum of 12 monthsTechnician experience within an operating theatre
Certificate III in Operating Theatre Technician Practice/Health Services Assistant or equivalent is desirable
Flexibility to work a rotating roster will be key to this role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable working in a diverse team
Understanding of infection control and manual handling procedures
