Contract | 6 months initial (extensions likely) | Melbourne preferred (Sydney ok) | Hybrid (5 days per fortnight onsite)

A senior Data Engineer is required for a complex environment where strong cloud engineering fundamentals matter. This one will suit someone who is genuinely hands‐on with GCP and dbt , and who is comfortable working through ambiguity to get to a clean, supportable outcome.
Must have n
n
Strong hands‐on GCP experience (non‐negotiable)
n
Strong hands‐on dbt experience (non‐negotiable)
n
Nice to have n
n
Collibra (data governance / catalogue)
n
Tableau (reporting environment exposure, especially regulatory reporting)
n
ASIC / APRA regulatory setting experience
n
6 months initial, with a strong chance of 1–2 extensions
n
Hybrid: 5 days per fortnight onsite
