Rustica Highpoint is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Café Manager / Assistant Venue Manager to support our Venue Manager and help lead our team.

We are a busy café known for specialty coffee, fresh seasonal food, and excellent customer service. As Assistant Venue Manager, you will help oversee day-to-day operations, support team performance, and ensure every guest enjoys an outstanding café experience.

What you'll do:

- Support the Venue Manager in managing and leading the café team across front and back of house
- Help oversee daily operations to maintain high service and quality standards
- Assist with recruiting, training, and developing staff
- Assist with rostering, stock control, budgets, and compliance




- Work closely with ownership and senior management to achieve business targets
- Foster a positive team culture and uphold Rustica's brand standards
- Step up and run the venue in the Venue Manager's absence

What we're looking for:

- Proven experience in a café or restaurant supervisory or management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Solid understanding of hospitality operations
- Passion for specialty coffee, food, and customer service
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Solid organisational and communication skills
