Senior Data Developer || 9 Months Contract || $*******/Day Plus Super Location: Geelong, VIC (3 Days/Week in Office) About The Role n
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Developer to support a major transformation program focused on modernising claims and recovery services. You will help maintain continuity of data, reporting and analytics while uplifting data ingestion, modelling and transformation capabilities for a new technology environment.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Provide technical expertise for the design and implementation of data and analytics solutions.
n
Develop reliable data sourcing, integration and transformation pipelines.
n
Lead system optimisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Design secure, scalable data environments aligned with operational and product needs.
n
Partner with data architects, analytics teams, technology teams and business stakeholders.
n
Support the design, prototyping and production of trusted data and analytics assets.




n
Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
n
Skills And Experience n
n
5+ years' experience in software development, data engineering or a related field.
n
Advanced programming skills and experience with infrastructure as code.
n
Strong capability across cloud technologies and systems administration.
n
Proven experience in database design, data modelling and data warehousing.
n
Experience with BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlik or SAS Visual Analytics.
n
Good understanding of Agile delivery methods and
n
CI/CD practices.
n
Strong stakeholder communication, prioritisation and organisational skills.
n
