Wallard Automotive is a well-established, growing workshop based in Melbourne's northern suburbs, operating out of a large, modern, refurbished facility.

We're looking for an experienced, qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic who wants more than just a job - someone looking for stability, responsibility, and the opportunity to grow with the buisness over time.

This role is ideally suited to an early to mid-career mechanic who takes pride in their work, enjoys autonomy, and wants to be part of a business that is continuing to expand.
The Role n
Diagnose, service and repair a wide range of light vehicles
n
Carry out mechanical repairs to a high standard with strong attention to detail
n
Communicate clearly with the team and assist with job flow in the workshop
n
Provide accurate assessments and input into repair estimates
n
Maintain clean, organised work practices and documentation
n
Contribute to a positive, team-first workshop culture
About You n
Fully qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (Australian recognised trade qualification)
n
2+ years post-trade experience
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
n
Able to work independently and take ownership of your work
n
Reliable, consistent, and takes pride in quality workmanship
n
Valuable communication skills with both team and customers
n
Current driver's licence and own tools

This is a long-term position suited to candidates currently based in Australia with full working rights.
