Lucid is looking for a BIM Manager to lead digital delivery across a growing portfolio of Defence projects, while helping shape the future of BIM, information management and digital engineering across our business.

This role is ideal for someone who understands that successful project delivery is about more than creating a coordinated 3D model. It's about delivering accurate, structured and meaningful information that supports project outcomes, asset handover and long-term operations.

Whether your background is architecture, engineering, BIM coordination or construction delivery, you'll play a key role in leading teams, improving workflows and driving excellence in digital project delivery.

What this role is all about

As BIM Manager, you'll lead the planning, management and delivery of project information in accordance with ISO 19650 principles, while supporting multidisciplinary project teams across Defence and future Health sector projects. You'll work closely with design leads, project managers, engineers, contractors and clients to ensure digital deliverables remain coordinated, compliant and aligned to project requirements.

How you'll contribute day-to-day

- Lead BIM and information management processes across project delivery teams
- Develop and implement project BIM Execution Plans and information management workflows
- Guide multidisciplinary design teams through coordination and digital delivery requirements
- Lead clash detection,



issue management and model coordination activities
- Manage the delivery of asset information required for handover and operational use
- Support and mentor design modellers and BIM coordinators
- Undertake hands-on Revit modelling and coordination where required
- Work closely with designers, contractors and clients to maintain project quality and delivery outcomes
- Drive consistency, continuous improvement and innovation across digital delivery practices

What sets you up for success To thrive in this role, you'll bring:

- Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain, or currently hold, a Baseline Security Clearance
- Minimum 3 years' experience in BIM coordination, design delivery or construction delivery
- Robust understanding of ISO 19650 and modern information management principles
- Experience leading coordination processes across multidisciplinary project teams
- Practical understanding of construction sequencing, building systems and project delivery
- Strong working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows
- Experience managing clash detection and issue resolution processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A collaborative leadership style and desire to help others succeed

Nice to have





- Defence or complex infrastructure project experience
- Knowledge of asset information requirements and digital handover processes
- Experience with workflow automation tools such as Dynamo, pyRevit, Python or similar
- Passion for mentoring teams and improving digital delivery capability
