Board Member Use your experience to help strengthen communities

Community Services #1 (CS#1) is seeking experienced professionals to join our voluntary Board, and help guide the next stage of an organisation that has supported communities for more than 50 years.

Based in Canberra, CS#1 provides a broad range of services across education and care, aged care and community support, social connection, food relief, and other programs that strengthen individuals, families and communities.

As a CS#1 Board member, you will contribute your qualified experience, insight and perspective to a collaborative board focused on strong governance, sustainable growth and meaningful social impact.

We are particularly interested in people with experience in aged care, health and clinical care, governance, finance, law, risk, strategy or organisational leadership. We welcome applications from both experienced board directors and those interested in their first director role.

Board members help CS#1 look ahead, test ideas, identify opportunities, strengthen organisational capability, and remain well positioned to respond to changing community needs.
