BMS Service Technician

Our client is a well-established building management and automation specialist delivering BMS and controls solutions across commercial, government, healthcare, retail and critical infrastructure environments throughout Melbourne.

They are looking for an experienced BMS Service Technician to join their growing team, providing hands-on service, troubleshooting and maintenance support across a range of customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Service, maintain and troubleshoot BMS and HVAC control systems
- Diagnose faults and provide technical solutions independently on customer sites
- Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive service work
- Troubleshoot controllers, sensors, actuators, VFDs and associated field devices
- Work across commercial, government, healthcare, retail and data centre environments
- Complete small BMS upgrades, modifications and retrofit projects
- Liaise directly with customers, contractors and internal project teams
- Complete service reports, documentation and commissioning records
- Support ongoing improvements and upgrades to existing BMS infrastructure

Requirements

- 3+ years' experience within BMS, BAS, HVAC Controls or Building Automation




- Strong hands-on BMS service and troubleshooting experience
- Experience working independently on customer sites
- Good understanding of HVAC systems and control sequences
- Experience with Niagara, Tridium or other major BMS platforms is highly desirable
- Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics and control diagrams
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Australian working rights
