Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our team supporting a well-established client in Melbourne's Western Suburbs.
The Role
Working in the workshop, your day will involve the fabrication of heavy structural steel components, include a high amount of MIG welding and working with beams and columns. This is an ongoing temporary role and you are required to pass a welding test on site before commencing in the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication and welding of heavy structural steel
- Workshop-based manufacturing and assembly work
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans
- Perform MIG and Stick welding to a high standard
- Carry out modifications and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation
- Contribute to a strong safety-first culture
