Established in 2015, AIH is a family owned equipment solutions business supporting mining, quarrying, civil construction, infrastructure and agriculture. We provide equipment rental & comprehensive maintenance solutions in-house under one coordinated solutions model.

About the opportunity

AIH provides end to end equipment solutions across equipment rental, diesel maintenance, component rebuilds and OTR tyre management.

We’re establishing a branch in Toowoomba and looking for a commercially driven Branch Manager who knows the local market, and knows where to find business.

You’ll take an active role in winning customers, building repeat revenue and establishing a safe, qualified and dependable branch. You’ll have support from AIH’s sales, operations and technical teams, with personal accountability for driving local growth.

What you’ll do

- Get out into the market, meet decision makers and attract new business.

- Build relationships with civil contractors, earthmoving operators, quarries, mining customers, councils and other local operators.

- Own opportunities from first contact through to quoting, follow-up and awarded work.

- Grow repeat business, fleet utilisation and profitable revenue.

- Establish branch systems and maintain strong customer service.

- Identify demand for additional equipment and services, and develop practical proposals for expansion.

- Work with AIH’s sales and operations teams to deliver on customer commitments.

- Build and lead the local team as the branch grows.





Who we’re looking for

You’re a proactive, practical person with strong local connections and a track record of turning relationships into business.

You’ll bring

- A solid understanding of Toowoomba and the surrounding market.

- Proven business development, account management or branch leadership experience.

- Experience in equipment rental, heavy equipment, equipment services or a related industry.

- Commercial judgement across pricing, margins and operating costs.

- The ability to manage daily operations while maintaining consistent sales activity.

- Clear communication, reliable follow-through and pride in branch presentation.

- A current driver licence and willingness to travel throughout the region.
