CHRISTINA ROSSI is one of Australian leading bridal wear designers located in Leichhardt Sydney seeking for an meticulous, detail-oriented Bridal Presser & Quality Control Assistant to join our bridal workroom. In this internal role, you will be the final line of defense ensuring our gowns are flawless, perfectly pressed, and structural masterpieces before they are handed over to our brides.
Key Responsibilities:
- Garment Preparation: Use industrial vertical steaming and horizontal pressing systems to finish multi-layered silk, tulle, lace, and heavily beaded gowns.
- Quality Control Check: Inspect finished pieces against spec sheets for loose threads, missing beads, uneven tracking, or structural flaws.
- Inventory Handling: Carefully hang, package,
and label finished couture pieces using archival garment bags and specialized hangers.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience handling delicate or high-end fabrics (bridal, formal wear, or theatrical costuming is highly regarded).
- Exceptionally high standards of precision and a calm approach under tight hand-over deadlines.
