Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Mining Engineer
to join the Technical Services team of a high-grade underground gold and antimony operation in Central Victoria.
n
This role will focus on
underground mine planning, design, scheduling and optimisation
within a technically challenging narrow-vein setting.
n
You will work closely with Production Engineering, Geology, Survey and underground operations to develop practical mine plans that maximise ore recovery while controlling dilution and overbreak.

Underground mine planning and design
n
Development and stope design
n
Short and medium-term scheduling
n
Drill & blast planning and design support
n
Narrow-vein mining optimisation
n
Mining sequence and extraction planning
n
Dilution and recovery analysis
n
Production forecasting and performance analysis
n
Work closely with geology, survey and underground operations
n
Identify opportunities to improve extraction,



productivity and mine performance
n
About You You Will Ideally Have n
n
Degree qualification in Mining Engineering
n
Underground hard-rock mining experience
n
Experience within narrow-vein mining environments
n
Strong understanding of underground drill & blast
n
Mine planning, scheduling and design experience
n
Stope and development design capability
n
Understanding of dilution, recovery and overbreak control
n
Experience with Deswik or similar mine planning software
n
Strong practical and analytical capability
n
n
Candidates from
underground gold and other narrow-vein metalliferous operations
