Business Analyst – Process Modelling | Defence

Azooa is preparing response for contractors to support Army’s Battleworthiness Management System (BMS), based on Modelpedia / Holocentric.

Help Army turn complex business activities into clear, governed processes. You will work with process owners and subject matter experts to map current and future states, identify improvements and prepare quality-assured models for publication.

Candidates from all Australian states and territories with strong business process modelling skills and hands-on Holocentric / Modelpedia experience are encouraged to apply. Applicants must meet the security clearance requirements. Any remote work requires prior written Commonwealth approval.

Four contract opportunities

- Business Analyst – Process Modelling × 2 (Process Modeller; SFIA BSMO Level 3)
- Lead Business Analyst – Process Modelling × 1 (Lead Process Modeller; SFIA BSMO Level 4)
- BMS Library Administrator × 1 (SFIA BSMO Level 4)

Process Modellers

- Develop and maintain current- and future-state models using approved Army BMS standards.
- Analyse workflows, responsibilities, decisions, information flows and dependencies.
- Engage stakeholders, validate models, resolve gaps, document improvements, incorporate QA feedback and submit publication-ready packages.
- Report progress and issues to the lead.

Lead Process Modeller

- Lead complex modelling across functions and transformation initiatives.
- Facilitate discovery workshops,



secure stakeholder agreement, direct and peer-review modellers, contribute to standards and prepare governance briefs.
- Provide library administrator cover when required.

Library Administrator

- Govern the Modelpedia library, including naming, classification, version control, access, lifecycle states and controlled publication.
- Manage review and approval workflows, audit trails and content currency.
- Provide user guidance, report library health, perform advanced modelling and quality-assure artefacts before publication.

Essential requirements

- Current NV1 security clearance or higher.
- Hands-on Modelpedia / Holocentric capability: high-level skills for process modellers; advanced skills for lead and library administrator roles.
- Business process analysis, modelling, stakeholder engagement and QA capability aligned with the nominated role.
- Ability to follow Army BMS conventions and Defence security and information-handling requirements.
- Ability to work on-site in Canberra/Remote work requires prior written Commonwealth approval..

Relevant Defence BMS, modelling governance and controlled-library experience will support your application.
