AWX is currently seeking reliable and hardworking people to join a well-established food manufacturing operation based in Yatala.
We have opportunities available for experienced Butchers / Knifemen, as well as Cleaners and Labourers. These are hands-on roles suited to people who are physically fit, reliable and ready to work as part of a team.
Available roles
Butchers / Knifemen
- $34.04 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 5:00am starts
- Previous butchering / knifehand experience essential
Cleaners & Labourers
- $34.04 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 5:00am starts
- Training provided
- Previous experience not essential
What you'll do
- Depending on the position, your duties may include:
- Butchering and knifehand duties
- General production and labouring duties
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas
- Following food safety and workplace procedures
- Working safely as part of a team
- Completing physically demanding, hands-on tasks
What you'll need
- Previous butchering / knifehand experience for butcher positions
- Reliable transport to Yatala
- Ability to start at 5:00am
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive, hands-on work
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work safely within a team environment
