We’re looking for a friendly, confident and experienced Barista / Café All-Rounder to join the Milk & Shots crew!
We’re a welcoming local café that loves great coffee, good food and even better chats with our customers. We’re looking for someone who can jump behind the machine with confidence, work well in a fast-paced environment and bring a positive attitude to every shift.
About the role
Your day-to-day will include:
- Making consistently outstanding coffee
- Taking orders and providing friendly customer service
- Building relationships with our amazing regulars
- Preparing and serving food
- Basic food preparation
- Keeping the coffee station, café and work areas clean and organised
- Restocking and assisting with general café duties
- Working independently when required and as part of our small team
What we’re looking for Barista experience is a must. You’ll need to be confident on the coffee machine and able to produce consistently good coffee during busy periods.
We’d also love someone who:
- Has great customer service skills and genuinely loves a good chat
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Has a positive, can-do attitude
- Works well under pressure
- Can take initiative and see what needs to be done
- Works well within a small team
- Has food preparation experience — preferred, but not essential
Availability You must be available Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, with the potential to pick up additional shifts.
