Australian Ground Technologies is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team, working across various construction projects throughout NSW. The successful candidate will undertake carpentry and formwork duties in accordance with project requirements.

The role involves practical site-based carpentry work and requires the ability to interpret construction drawings, work safely and effectively on site, and perform duties independently and as part of a project team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Construct, install and dismantle formwork for concrete structures.

· Form and construct capping beams in accordance with project drawings and specifications.

· Construct test panels and associated temporary structures.

· Install edgeboards for in-ground slabs.

· Construct and install shuttering for concrete works.

· Strip and remove formwork safely following completion of concrete works.

· Measure, cut, assemble and install timber and other materials as required.

· Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and technical details.

· Apply appropriate bracing and support methods, with an understanding of structural loads.

· Ensure carpentry work is completed accurately and in accordance with project specifications.

· Use carpentry tools and equipment safely and effectively.





· Follow workplace health and safety procedures and site requirements.

· Work collaboratively with supervisors, tradespeople and other project team members.

· Undertake other carpentry-related duties as required across project sites.

Skills and Experience

· Relevant carpentry qualification or equivalent trade skills.

· Minimum 1 year of relevant carpentry experience.

· Experience in formwork and construction-site carpentry.

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and details.

· Good understanding of loads, bracing and safe formwork practices.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Good communication and organisational skills.

· Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

· Current White Card.

· Ability to travel to project sites throughout NSW as required.

Australian Ground Technologies undertakes specialist construction and ground engineering works across NSW. The Carpenter will support the delivery of the company's projects by carrying out carpentry and formwork activities according to individual project requirements.

Pay: $82,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
