About the Role

X-Golf & Hey Caddy Palmerston is looking for an energetic and reliable Casual Caddie to join our team!

This isn’t your typical hospitality job. Our venue combines X-Golf simulators, Hey Caddy mini golf, darts, food and drinks, functions and events — so every shift can be a little different.

As a Caddie, you’ll be an all-rounder across the venue, helping customers get set up and making sure they have a great experience from the moment they walk through the door.

You don't need to be a golfer! We’ll teach you everything you need to know about our simulators and venue.

What You'll Be Doing

- Welcoming customers and providing friendly, confident service
- Checking in bookings and assisting walk-in customers
- Setting customers up on X-Golf simulators and explaining how they work
- Assisting customers throughout their games when required
- Serving food and beverages
- Preparing basic food and assisting with kitchen duties
- Taking orders and processing payments through our POS system
- Supporting functions, parties and group bookings
- Monitoring the venue and checking in with customers throughout their visit
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented venue
- Completing opening, closing and general cleaning duties
- Working closely with the rest of the team during busy periods

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, outgoing and comfortable talking to customers
- Reliable and punctual

- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to learn and take initiative
- A strong team player
- Confident providing great customer service
- Available for a mixture of evening and weekend shifts

Previous hospitality or customer service experience is an advantage, but not essential. A great attitude and willingness to learn are most important to us. An NT RSA is required for team members involved in alcohol service.

Why Work With Us?

- Work in a fun, social and unique hospitality setting
- Variety across X-Golf, Hey Caddy, food & beverage and events
- Full training on our X-Golf simulator systems
- Develop experience across hospitality, customer service and entertainment
- Flexible casual shifts
- Be part of a friendly and supportive venue team
