About the role

Casual Chefs and Kitchen Hands are needed to join the growing kitchen teams across The Rowing Pavilion Mt Pleasant and Mayflower in Bull Creek. With busy services, functions and plenty happening across both venues, we're looking for reliable hospitality people who enjoy working as part of a strong kitchen team.

Key responsibilities

Casual Chefs

- Preparing and cooking fresh food to a consistent standard
- Running a section during busy services
- Following recipes, portioning and presentation standards
- Maintaining strong food safety and kitchen cleanliness
- Working closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chefs and wider kitchen team
- Assisting with prep, functions and high-volume service

Kitchen Hands:
- Dishwashing and maintaining the wash-up area
- General kitchen cleaning
- Assisting with basic food preparation
- Keeping kitchen areas organised and clean
- Supporting the chefs during busy services

About you

- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic




- Comfortable working in a quick-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork
- Availability across evenings and weekends
- Ability to work at The Rowing Pavilion, Mayflower or across both venues
- Previous experience in a pub, restaurant or high-volume kitchen is preferred (Chefs)
- Previous kitchen experience is an advantage (Kitchen Hands)
