Operating out of a large-scale processing facility in Blacktown, they offer stable long-term employment within a busy operation where maintenance reliability is critical to keeping production moving.

Permanent full-time role: Afternoon shift

6-day week: Monday – Friday 1pm–11:30pm | Saturday 1pm–6pm
n

$50–$52 per hour depending on experience + 20% afternoon shift loading
n

4 weeks paid annual leave

nPay Rate / Salary Package n

Based on the standard 56-hour working week, including 18 hours of overtime:

$50/hr: circa $182,000 + super annually
n
n
$52/hr: circa $189,000 + super annually

nThe Role n
n
Working within the maintenance team, you'll play a key role in executing planned maintenance, equipment upgrades and reliability improvements across a busy industrial site.



The role offers exposure across both heavy fixed plant and mobile plant equipment within a workshop and production environment.

nDay to day you will be involved in n
n
n
n
Preventative maintenance and planned maintenance activities across heavy plant and processing equipment
n
n
Shutdown maintenance, equipment rebuilds and reliability improvement projects
n
n
Installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant upgrades
n
n
Fault finding, servicing and maintenance on heavy fixed plant and mobile plant equipment
n
n
Supporting continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives
n
n
Workshop-based repairs, fabrication support and onsite maintenance activities
n
n
n
nRequirements n
n
n
n
Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
n
n
Experience within heavy industry, recycling, manufacturing, mines or tunnels
n
n
Strong preventative maintenance and reliability maintenance experience
n
n
MIG & stick welding exposure highly regarded
n
n
High Risk tickets highly desirable: EWP, Forklift & Confined Spaces
n
n
