What we are looking for:3 + years of proven kitchen experience in a fast paced, high volume setting on a flame grillAs a start, the successful applicant, will need to estimate food and workforce costs in line with the budgetWill order food supplies from local suppliersWill need to discuss food preparation issues and will need to resolve issues with Management and the teamDemonstrate technique and cooking methods which will need to be shared with the rest of the teamWill store , freeze and preserve food products , sauces , oils and condimentsExplain and enforce safety and hygiene regulations , whilst cooking and preparing food according to Breslin specifications to ensure that Breslin's high quality of food is maintained at all timesAdvanced understanding of steak cuts and grades.




Will manage the grill station to cook premium cuts of beef and other meats to precise temperatures and customer specifications .
The core duties would include steak preparation and cooking, station set up, temperature and timing control, quality and plating, station cleanliness and safety , inventory and stock control .
Will coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operationsThe Grill Chef will manage stock control rotation and control waste managementWill need to be a team player who thrives under pressure and shares the same passion to learn, grow and thrive together in a busy environmentWill need to have exceptional planning and organisation skillsThe successful applicant will work alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating and planning new meat dishesWill contribute in recruiting , training and supervising new staff to assist on the grillWith us , enjoy an innovative , supportive and positive work environment
