About the role

As a Casual Retail Salesperson at Boori, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting customers warmly, assisting them with product inquiries, and providing personalized recommendations to meet their needs

- Actively promoting products, upselling, and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities

- Ensuring the store is well-presented at all times by maintaining visual standards, organizing displays, and restocking merchandise

- Processing transactions accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and maintaining a tidy and organized checkout area

- Monitoring inventory levels, replenishing stock on the shop floor, and participating in stocktaking activities as required

- Following company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and operational guidelines

About you

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles is essential
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive experiences for shoppers





- Strong verbal communication skills to engage effectively with customers and colleagues
- The ability to identify sales opportunities, close transactions, and achieve sales targets

- Willingness to collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment

- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced setting and willingness to take on various tasks as needed

- Punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility to fulfill scheduled shifts

- Computer literacy is required

- Experience in either furniture or bedding retail will be highly regarded
