Make a difference in community mental health by joining our Care Coordination Team and providing evidence-based psychological care to clients with complex mental health needs.
About The Opportunity Join the Mental Health Care Coordination Team within Central Coast Local Health District and provide recovery-oriented, client-centred psychological care to adults experiencing moderate to severe mental illness. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support clients and their families through assessment, treatment and care coordination to promote positive mental health outcomes and sustainable support networks. In this role you will:
- Provide psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based treatment to clients in a community mental health setting.
- Deliver individual and group interventions, care planning and case management for clients with complex mental health needs.
- Work collaboratively with nursing, medical and allied health professionals, GPs, families and other service providers to support continuity of care.
- Respond to clients experiencing periods of crisis and provide timely, effective clinical intervention.
- Contribute to clinical supervision, professional development, quality improvement, teaching and research activities within the Mental Health Service.

You will bring strong clinical expertise, communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across a multidisciplinary team. We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant qualifications in Psychology and current AHPRA registration,
with Clinical Psychology endorsement or eligibility for registrar enrolment.
- Experience providing psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
- Experience working with adults experiencing moderate to severe or complex mental health presentations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with clients, families, carers and other service providers.
- A commitment to recovery-oriented, trauma-informed and client-centred practice, as well as ongoing professional development and quality improvement.
