- Temporary full-time role 12 months from commencement

About the role This opportunity will suit a positive and enthusiastic leader who will take pride in guiding and supporting our team to deliver high quality and contemporary education and care. The Centre Director will build positive connections with staff, children and families in the service, as well as with the surrounding community.

The role of Centre Director is to oversee the day-to-day work and functioning of the team undertaking operational work or service provision, and to collaborate with others to complete the programs and projects of the section. This will be achieved through ensuring the facility operates in an ethical and skilled manner committed to community inclusion and continual improvement.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

Applicant Profile To be successful in this role, you will have:

- a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education combined with ongoing professional development




- current Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk accreditation
- current CPR and First Aid certificate
- current certificate in Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management
- provisional or proficient teacher accreditation
- current Working with Children Check
- current vaccinations required for the role - Boostrix (Whooping Cough, Tetanus, Diptheria); MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and Hepatitis A & B or the commencement of these vaccinations prior to commencement
- a current Class C Drivers Licence
- knowledge of and compliance with the National Quality Framework for a Nominated Supervisor, Legislation, Regulations
- demonstrated leadership behaviours, including active communication with teams regarding performance, strategy, diversity, coaching and mentoring, and change management

Offer Details The commencing salary for this position is up to $104k per year. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $121.1k on completion of assessment of skills and/ or performance plus 12% superannuation

- We have a temporary full-time role available - 12 months from commencement
- This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
- This role is located at Coastal Kids Kariong
