We're the café-restaurant inside Shepparton Art Museum.
Open 8am to 3:30pm, seven days. World-inspired menu, specialty coffee blend, and a function space that keeps things interesting. Basically a restaurant stuck in a café setting.
We feed a lot of people from Shepparton and beyond, and we're known for looking after guests with dietary needs. That's something we take seriously in the kitchen.
Chef (Full-Time)
We want a chef who cooks with care, keeps a tidy section and stays sharp when the rail fills up.
What you'll do
- Prep, cook and plate to a consistent high standard under direction
- Prepare dietary and allergen meals safely and confidently, every time
- Run your section through busy service
- Keep food safety, HACCP and WHS standards tight
- Manage stock, prep lists and waste on your section
What you'll bring
- Solid knowledge of allergens, intolerances and dietary requirements, plus the discipline to prevent cross-contact
- 3+ years as a chef in a high-volume kitchen
- Range across cooking styles and techniques
- Calm under pressure, good at prioritising
- Clear communicator who works well in a team and on your own
- Availability for a rotating roster including weekends and evening functions
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

Kitchen Hand (Casual)
What you'll do
- Keep dishes moving through busy service
- Clean down the kitchen and keep it tidy all shift
- Help with basic prep
- Put deliveries away and rotate stock
- Follow food safety and allergen procedures
What you'll bring
- Reliability and a valuable work ethic
- Speed and stamina for a fast-paced kitchen
- A team-first attitude
- Availability for a rotating roster including weekends
- Kitchen experience is a bonus, not a must
